DRINKING ALCOHOL OFFICIALLY ALLOWED IN PARKS
As part of a pilot project, Ottawa has decided to allow alcohol consumption in the following parks:
Minto Park
McNabb Park
Queenswood Ridge Park
Lansdowne Park - Great Lawn
Riverain Park
Strathcona Park
Brewer Park
Alcohol will be allowed to be consumed in these places starting July 1 and during strictly designated hours - from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
